Roomy and comfortable with hardwood floors throughout, the main floor includes a living room and formal dining room (with seating for 6) as well as an open family room/den with comfortable furniture, satellite TV and two sliding glass doors leading out onto the deck where you'll find comfortable furniture for relaxing and enjoying the view. The well-equipped kitchen just off of the family room and has granite counters and an island with seating for four. There is also a study tucked away on the main floor with a desk and wireless printer. There is a full-sized washer and dryer in the garage. All three bedrooms are on the second floor along with the second full bath (shower). Enjoy breathtaking views from both the master bedroom and one of the two other lovely bedrooms, both with queen beds. There are two more TVs as well. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Blue Hill and Ellsworth, it's a well-situated home base for day trips to Acadia National Park (about 34 miles away) and other points Downeast. The view is spectacular. The cottage is cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all of the bed and bath linens are provided. The deck is a great space to watch the tide, seals, dolphin, loons and eagles. The great room fireplace is warm and inviting. The dvd library is a great way to end the day in front of the fire watching an old favorite film. DSL service is available for wireless internet. A table for 2 on the deck is a great spot for sunning or dining al fresco. Christine's Cottage was built by my husband's great uncle in the 1950s. It has been in the family ever since. We took the property over about 5 years ago and have been slowly updating.

This cozy 700 sq ft cottage sits well off the road with 158' of water frontage with no development close by. Beautiful Harriman Point is an easy 20-30 minute walk thru the woods or along the shore line. The child-friendly beach, swimmable for a four to five hour period during mid-tide, provides the warmer waters that coves provides. Walk about 15 minutes along the shoreline to swim or boat at all tides. Great sunsets! With a well-equipped kitchen and large, enclosed porch, guests settle in quickly.This cottage enjoys a high percentage of repeat guests.. A propane wall heater relieves the occasional morning chill. Arriving by boat? The harbor is protected in all directions except the Northwest, and features a fairly flat basin with a generally muddy bottom. There's plenty of depth at low tide in the heart of the harbor for all but the largest-drawing boats (i.e. Shamrock V), so you can anchor safely in most conditions.

Dorsey Cottage is situated on a quiet cove that is just off the popular sailing lanes of Eggemoggin Reach (a mile wide body of water separating Deer Isle from the mainland). This picturesque cove wraps around two sides of the home, and provides for more expanded views northeast looking out across the cove and out to the reach. The home is set back from Reach Road, with a large pasture fronting the home, providing for a fully tranquil setting. Simply furnished, the interior provides for a somewhat modest and relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen, living and dining area are open, light and airy, and all gaze upon the surrounding natural beauty.

The home has two bedrooms, one downstairs (queen) and one up (double), each with their own bathrooms. There is also a fold down futon in the living room for added sleeping. An open deck runs along the entire back of the home, and includes patio furniture. Both the living room and downstairs bedroom have sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. There is a covered deck on the front of the home overlooking the pasture. The setting is a kids paradise for exploration, but also a serene backdrop for adults to unwind and relax. Washer, dryer, TV will have a cable or satellite connection, VCR, DVD.

Eboleth House, located in Sargentville, is named after the original family that lived there during the turn of the century. The current owners' family purchased the property in 1932 and have lovingly restored and updated it. Eboleth has 4 bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms and sits in a field overlooking Eggemoggin Reach and the Sedgwick/Deer Isle bridge.

Relax on the wrap-around porch enjoying the view of the bridge and meadow that was once an apple orchard. A short walk through the field leads to new stairs leading down to the private beach overlooking the Deer Isle Bridge and the beautiful sailing lanes of Eggemoggin Reach. The main floor includes the living area with comfortable seating and the dining area that seats 8. The kitchen is spacious and has the original handmade table and chairs. There is also a half bath that includes a new stackable washer/dryer. Like many of the old farmhouses in the area there is a back set of stairs as well as the main stairs leading to the second floor. The main spiral stairs are made of very sturdy, unique tree branches and built by the owners' father, a master craftsman. They lead to 4 cozy bedrooms, each with a full bed and comfortable mattress. There are 4 additional cots available. While the fireplace is no longer used the rooms are individually heated in case of chilly mornings or evenings and an air conditioner is available. The spacious kitchen includes everything needed for cooking family meals.

Enjoy Internet access, Eboleth House is in a central location for families to stay while visiting Deer Isle and area towns. About an hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, guests can enjoy a visit to the busy tourist areas of Mount Desert Island and then return to the peace and quiet of Sargentville for quiet and carefree evenings.
